De groep cardiale electrofysiologie (vakgroep fysiologie) zoekt een gemotiveerde (medisch) biologisch analist(e) die zelfstandig kan werken in een jong en dynamisch team. Onze groep doet onderzoek naar hartritmestoornissen. Binnen dit onderzoek zijn we geïnteresseerd in veranderingen in de cellulaire calciumhuishouding bij boezemfibrilleren. Na een inwerkperiode zal u zelfstandig hartspiercel isolaties uitvoeren en immunocyto- en immunohistochemische technieken toepassen. Ook histologische en eiwitbiochemische bepalingen behoren bij uw takenpakket. Bij interesse kunnen ook elektrofysiologische metingen worden uitgevoerd. De functie is voornamelijk geschikt voor diegenen die houden van afwisseling en zelfstandig werken in een teamverband.
Functie-eisen
Opleidingsniveau: HBO
- opleiding HLO;
- nauwkeurigheid en enthousiasme;
- ervaring met celisolatie en/of histologische/eiwitbiochemische technieken is wenselijk, maar ook aankomende analisten die binnenkort hun diploma behalen, worden gevraagd om te solliciteren.

(Medical) Biologist Analyst
Description of position
The cardiac group of electrophysiology (dept. of Physiology) is looking for a motivated (medical) biological analyst who can work independently in a young and dynamic team. Our group investigates arrhythmias. Within this area we are interested in changes in the cellular calcium handling in atrial fibrillation. After a training period, you will independently isolate cardiac myocytes and perform immunocyto- and immunohistochemical techniques. Also histological and proteinbiochemical techniques will be part of your responsibilities. If interested, electrophysiological measurements could also be done. The position is primarily suited for someone who likes variation and independent work in a team.
Requirements
Education level: HBO, HLO education, precision and enthusiasm, experience with cell isolation and histological/protein-biochemical techniques is a bonus, but also analysts that are starting out and receive their diploma within a short time are welcome to apply.
